Why hire a coach?

My name is Mike Westerling; I have been a strength and conditioning coach for over 30 years. I have trained athletes of all different levels of fitness and varying sports; from Strongman / Strongwoman, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, CrossFit, MMA Triathletes and Bodybuilders. Everyone can benefit from having a coach. Following random workouts that you see in a magazine or online might be good for the short term, but to reach your full potential, hiring a coach to guide you through your workouts with a concrete plan to get you stronger, faster and better is priceless. It's easy to do too much with all the info out there, and a driven athlete wants to do "EVERYTHING" so having an experienced coach can help you sift through the BS. Also, everyone will eventually hit a plateau; having a coach that understands your needs as an athlete and as a person (let's be honest; life happens) will allow them to make changes to your program as needed to get you through it and come out stronger on the other side. My coaching goal is to maximize strength and endurance with efficient and effective technique without over training. I love working with my athletes and watching them succeed.
